Song of the Day: Searching for the Ghost

h- HEY! awesome things - and more importantly - awesome people come from ohio. the best people you know are from ohio. i'm not mean, i'm just.... misundersetimated.....

Those 2 Bobs (Ney & Taft) are also a swell couple of ohio-ites.

Heartless Bastards rock my world. Even more than hotrod.
this is great stuff (their website is quite generous with streaming songs). count me in next time they come 'round. and i'm pretty sure the drummer and i share our alma mater - the band bio claims he's from oxford. nobody's from oxford.

actually, that makes me a little sad now that i think about it. you'd think a school of 15,000 would be able to produce at least one decent local band between 1991 and 1995, but no. the biggest deal i recall were these douchebags called "psychological vacation" who played stone temple pilots covers. kreepy and english loved those assholes.

i don't often wish i was back in college, but it would have been nice to be there at the same time as a good band finding their sound.
Dude, the Newspaper Taxis were the bomb. And I too hail from Ohio. So I think the debate is settled: YES, everything good and right in this universe comes from Ohio.
i HATED the newspaper taxis.
in fact, i hated them so much i couldn't even remember their name until you just mentioned it. i knew there was some group of western fucktards that postured themselves as a good band. thanks for reminding me. they sucked ass.
