Did you happen to see the Old 97's on Leno a couple weeks back? They played a new song called "Dance With Me". It was terrible and I felt embarrassed for being a fan.

I'm still going to buy their CD, though.

D. Boon was a wise man; what a tragic death. Double Nickels on the Dime should be on my personal list of most influential albums.
Someone has gotten over her irrational fear of being too randy in the old blogosphere, I see, if the wolf boners, day-glo muffs and ginger balls are any indication. For this we can all rejoice.

The Old 97s...they were in that Jennifer Aniston - Vince Vaughn movie, right?
It's about time somebody broke out the "muff dye" tag. I guess I had just always suspected that Crunch would be the first to broach the subject.

My feelings about "Dance With Me" have been previously documented, though not in this forum: The Old 97's are not particularly good at selecting their singles, and this stays true to form. I hope.
I've been listening to that new Old 97's album all weekend, it's not bad. Not groundbreaking by any means, but kind of more of the same, which is, well, not bad.
I didn't think "Dance With Me" was that terrible a song. It wasn't the kind of Old 97's song I like, but it was listenable. I was more annoyed by the way the band looked during the performance. I couldn't get over the guitarist's super-tight t-shirt, his pumped up arms, and that horrible tuft of facial hair jutting out of his chin. He looked at least twice as douchey as I remember him looking the last time I saw him. Oh, and poor Rhett is finally losing his boyish good looks. It's about time.
Yeah yeah yeah. You get music illegally. Good for you.

So the real question - so to speak - is: is the new record not groundbreaking like Hootenanny is not groundbreaking, or like Pleased to Meet Me is not groundbreaking. Because there's a difference.
I'll have to check it out on YouTube. I didn't see it. But I'd argue that Rhett has lost none of his good looks.

All I want to know is if there's photographic evidence of Soo indulging in a pinkberry. Man, that just sounds dirty. But I have no other way of phrasing it.

The Pinkberry sounds weak compared to Dip'n'Dots.

Full bush? I can't imagine reliving the shock and awe of the first time I saw Revenge of the Nerds.
